Dr. Crystal Haskin-Cole, born and raised in New York, earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Fordham University in 2006. In 2010, she attained a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She served as a first year Podiatric Medicine and Surgery resident at Forest Hills Hospital and completed her last two years of residency at Department of Veterans Affairs, where she honed her patient care and leadership skills as Chief Resident in her third year. During Residency she had rotations at Banner Desert Hospital in Arizona where she received extensive training in Pediatric foot deformities, Reconstructive surgery, Plastic surgery and Diabetic Limb Salvage.

In 2014, Dr. Haskin-Cole was accepted into a wound care fellowship at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital. During the fellowship, she received certification in hyperbaric medicine. She was exposed to advanced wound care treatment methods including the use of advanced biologics/stem-cells. Thereafter, she became Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine. Since completing the fellowship, Dr. Haskin-Cole has worked in various capacities, including Orange Regional Wound Care Center, Bon Secour Wound Care Center, Schervier Pavilion Nursing Home, Mount Alverno Assisted Living Center and Braemar at Wallkill Assisted Living Center.

She has a passion in providing a holistic approach to treating podiatric deformities. Dr. Haskin-Cole believes it is crucial to identify the root cause of an issue in order to prevent re-occurrence. At times, ailments manifested in the feet have a systemic origin. She is competent in treating a multitude of foot issues conservatively and surgically including and not limited to: plantar fasciitis, hammertoe toes, Bunions, Calluses, Corns, Ulcers, Achilles tendonitis, Sports related injuries, Neuromas, Neuropathy, and Fractures. Conservative therapy common at the practice are: shoe modification, offloading, braces and custom foot orthotics. Treatment is always tailored specifically to the patients’ needs and capacity with the goal of an end result of happiness.

Dr. Haskin-Cole is very attentive and compassionate about treating her patients with the utmost care and respect and will ensure complete satisfaction in treatment. Her recipe to success is to educate, empower and relate to all the patients.
